cracking the edge of Pandora's box...
Jul. 31st, 2007 07:50 pmI, as some of you may know, are fascinated by fantasy and RPg. Have always wanted to do RPG, but my geeky friends have always been thin on the ground, to the point of nonexistant where I am the geeky friend. For shame.
I have just spent a infatestimaly small fraction of time having a bit of a peek at D&D (first I could remember) and without soo much as a single swoon, I was enchanted. To the extent that my speach is going all Gollum over it. I really, really want to give it a shot. Just give me an excuse to dress up or digress into fantasy and i'm all over it like a chocoholic on chocolate.
If I know you, and you've kept all kinds of geeky information from me that I would just lap up and adore or even geekier contacts/ activities for me to plung into, perhaps with floaties, then SHAME. I am dissapointed.
Why has life deprived me of such oppertunities so far? How do you meet super RPG/s or gamers who aren't wow addicts (because I know a few of them).
*throws head back and howls 'EDUCATE ME' *
