Not Happy Jan...
Jul. 24th, 2007 10:20 amIt's one of those days.
They are painting the display area. A good idea in the sense that it needed a paint but bad that it is being done while work is open. Also bad in that the paint is making my head spin and nose burn. I would be able to hide out the back on any other day of the year but today, in a shining moment from my otherwise usually sane boss, has in her wisdom, decided that we are going to be switching to a new system for the public cards, computers, printing and photocopying and are required out there to talk them through it. Right next to the paint! We also have just, and I mean just with double shift pulling agian, enough people to man this joint.
So here I am, headachy, dizzy, tasting paint and with a very warm nose dreading having to cover shifts later but eternally gratefull that Karen saw my plight and is going to cover the classes that I should be with now and for the next 2 hours or so.
Insert CAP LOCKS where ever you want. I'm going to go make a cup of green tea in my new mug (thankyou Jenn) and try not to feel too miserable.
