Hello all.
It's been a while. I've been busy as always, fitting in a bit of time to lurk and knit when I can. Hell, I even won a bottle of champagne today for best hat at work. Hilarious because I'm not such a big fan of alcohol in general. I feel soo boring some times. My belly dance performance is on in under a month. My mother, father, youngest sister and grandmother have decided to attend. I'm pleased to say that I'm getting along better with my mother these days, which is a good thing. Still kinda nervous, but not worried yet. I'll save that for the day before.
News on the geeky front: my darling bff has followed through on her promise and has taken me to buy dice! I also brought mysef some and have placed all of them into the lovely dice bag knitted specifically for the purpose. Now to use them... that ones in the 'work-in-progress' basket. Kinda like my paintings and tattoo designs. Currently they (the dice) are sititng on my dvd player next to a tub of chocolate halva looking lonely. I've also gone and pre-ordered myself a copy of Guitar Hero World Tour!! It looks so great. I have also found out that all of the Guitar Hero instrument/controllers are compatible with Rock Band. This is very bad news, as I am greatly tempted to go out and buy the games now.
Sadly, I am yet to get Kitty to recognise LynZ. Yes, I am that kind of dork and saddens me that I can't repair the rift in thier relationship. Kitty has plenty of new tracks for Lynz but can't give them to her. On a personal front, I've been on a bit of a down. I've also been a little more parinoid than usual. Not so good but I'm doing better. I can only hope that I can help those around me to feel a bit better aswell, freaky weather related illnesses aside.
Have been to more shows, as is usual for myself. I might write about them later, once my latest batch of mozzie bites stop itching. Should be tomorrow at any rate. The itching stop, not writing about shows. I'm off to see 'the-cats-who-are-hard-of-hearing', otherwise known as Def Leppard. It shall be an excellent time for all. I'm also curious as to the results of the American election tomorrow. I've been following what's happening and have my own views on the candidates, possible outcomes and feel that everyone should vote, even only so you have the right to bitch about the politicians for the next four years. Whatever the reason, vote.
